Sheeba was built on traditional Yemeni cooking and forty-plus years of family kitchen experience. Five Michigan locations later, the recipes — and the standard — haven't changed.
Started in Dearborn
Sheeba opened its first kitchen in Dearborn, home to one of the largest Arab American communities in the country. The goal was simple: cook the food the family had always cooked, and share it with neighbors.
The Recipes That Started It
Lamb haneeth, fahsah, smoky mandi, bone broth soup — these aren't adapted dishes. They're made the same way they've always been made.
The Space Matters Too
Traditional Arab woodworking, geometric walls, brass lighting, and a Yemeni coffee bar — the details reviewers call exquisite. WDIV's Live in the D came to see for themselves.
Five Locations, Same Standard
East Dearborn, West Dearborn, Canton, Sterling Heights, Hamtramck — every location runs on the same family recipes and the same commitment to fresh prep.
